Welcome

Dear Colleague,

Greetings from the World Federation of Neurology Speciality Group on Aphasia, Dementia and Cognitive Disorders. It is indeed a privilege to be writing to a member of a group that has been pivotal in pioneering new and interesting discussions in cognitive and behavioural neurology in the last few decades.
We are happy to write to you to let you know that the 2023 Biennial meeting of the WFN Speciality Group on aphasia and cognitive disorders group will be held in Nara, Japan, March 23-26, decided unanimously at the last meeting in Viana Portugal. We look forward to meeting in-person and re-connecting with friends after the isolation and loss faced globally due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As you are aware, one of the foremost concerns for us is to make WFN SG ADCD a truly international world-wide group of cognitive neurologists, neuropsychologists and experts form allied disciplines and the meeting has travelled from Europe to Istanbul, Hyderabad, Hong Kong and back to its origins in Lake Como in Italy. Therefore, having the next meeting in the Far East is exciting.

Sincerely,
Suvarna Alladi, President WFN SG ADCD
Manabu Ikeda, Chair, Biennial meeting of WFN SG ADCD 2020
Yutaka Tanaka and Loraine Obler, Planning and Local Arrangements Chairs
Thomas Bak, Past President WFN SG ADCD
